The weirdest part of when someone in your family dies is when you’re out in public and everyone is just going about things as usual and clerks are telling you, “Have nice day!” and your waiter says, “How are you today?” and you just have to answer, “Good, thanks”, like everything is normal and not…

Wow. I thought I was the only one who felt this way. I lost my son 3 years ago and I remember going to the store a Couple of days after it happened and watching everyone laughing and just going about like everything was OK and just like you said all I wanted to do was scream and tell them “DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? MY SON IS GONE AND HE IS NEVER COMING BACK AND ALL YOU CAN DO IS LAUGH!!” but nobody knew. It’s a weird and unsettling feeling. I’m so sorry for your loss and I hope comfort finds you
